About Barbod

Barbod Salimi possesses a blend of personal experience, education, and vocational background that make him rare in the landscape of mental performance coaching.

Barbod is a former NCAA-D1 Track & Field athlete. He earned an M.A. in Sport Psychology and went on to earn a PhD in Clinical Psychology. He began his career in academia at Boston University, where he taught for nearly five years. He is currently a core faculty member in the doctoral program in clinical psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego.

Barbod has thousands of hours of experience in direct one-on-one and group counseling where he has helped individuals and teams improve mental performance. He combines personalized assessment and intervention skills to provide clients with customized approaches.
